A sacred space of creativity, brainstorming, scholarly research, experimental spellcraft, and crafting. The Workshop is a space on my site which shows the fruits of my project.
You’ll find within these pages most of the unique garments, tools, sculptures and ritual accessories I’ve crafted. In time, I will keep adding more to my repertoire, and providing additional services. Consider this like an art gallery, but also as a catalogue of what I can potentially create. It’s unlikely I will make something exactly the same again, but I can re-create similar items with the same theme by commission. So, what can I make…
Altar Cloths
Altar cloths are small to extra large pieces of fabric which are typically spread out over an altar or a sacred space. These can be either for permanent set up, for specific rituals, or for travelling altars. An altar cloth may be very simple or heavily decorated, depending on their purpose and the practitioner. Generic altar cloths tend to have symbols of power related to the practice or tradition of that space or user. Altars dedicated to deities or pantheons may also have the symbols or elements of the deities themselves embroidered and weaved into their altar cloths.
Cloaks
Cloaks form an important part of traditional ritual wear in some areas of the world, especially in and around Europe. They provide both privacy and/or secrecy, as well as protection against the weather. However they may also be embellished and built in a way that is more revealing, or colourful, pulling the eye towards the wearer. They give an air of mystery and mystics, and can make a great difference in someone’s presence within a space. I personally also find them incredibly stylish!
